Song – I  Am Love

Moving to Nashville, Tennessee

After years of working as a professional actress, I had a moment of reckoning. I went to a final audition for television show and I walked in and made the group of 14 men and the casting director laugh, which is always a good sign. I then did my scene and when I was done, I looked up and 4 grown men were sobbing. The rest had tears in their eyes. I then said, “shit, I didn’t mean to make you cry!” and got them to laugh again. I thought, man this is it! This is my time! Unfortunately, at 108 pounds, with a 19″ waist, I was still considered “chunky” according to the casting director. I thought… I’m done.

I decided to focus on music and joined a country band located out of Ventura California. I worked with them for a year before deciding to move to Nashville.
